One surprising thing I have noticed about the garbage strike is how quickly I notice scraps of paper and other garbage on the street.
Tried dinner @ newly opened 3 Brewers on Yonge. Beer sampler & atmosphere was fun, food was bland, though. Still, nice patio for summer.

CUPE picked a bad time to strike in Toronto, Not heard anyone positive on the Union’s side. Either they need better PR, or a better reason.

Wow, analog TV shutoff may actually happen. Just had a flashback to Simpsons episode with Sideshow Bob taking out all of television.
Tonight’s episode of “The Listener” (on right now) is one of the better episodes this season.

Bought Metric’s recent album, Fantasies. Having first listen-through. So far, not as interesting as Live It Out, other than Help, I’m Alive.
All right Pens!
The Listener is premiering on NBC right now. Canadians watching CTV join in on episode 2 at 10pm.
Saw “Up” last night. It was a sweet movie, but a bit sadder than I thought it would be, in a touching way.
Premiere of @listenertv is 10 pm tonight in Canada, tomorrow in US. Reviews are coming in now, calling show boring, but attractive.
Hockey time! Hope the Pens pull off a win tonight.
